This position will be employed on a permanent part-time basis.
Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope's Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater's commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport.
This facility was established in **** and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doingAchieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care while acting as patient advocateDemonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients during perioperative journeyWorking collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every timeMaintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued qualified growthAbout youYou will enjoy working in a busy and rewarding environment where you can become part of a team of professionals who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care.
You will have recent Clinical experience in Anaesthetics, Scrub/Scout or day surgery.You will also:Have current registration with AHPRA with no notationsDemonstrated experience in pre-operative and post-operative patient care,



including wound management and monitoring recoveryAbility to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environmentBe able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and recognise priority tasksWork within a multi-disciplinary team environment with a focus on exceptional patient-centred care and customer serviceDigital and computer proficiencyYou must participate in a 24/7 roster (including weekends)Mater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
