WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN YOUR EXCAVATOR OPERATOR ROLE
As an experienced Excavator Operator, you'll be a key player in shaping the groundworks and civil components of our landscape projects.
From bulk excavation to detailed shaping, trenching, and working around services, you'll operate modern plant and equipment to help bring our designs to life, safely, precisely, and efficiently.
YOUR GENERAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Operating excavators (1.5T–20T) to complete detailed excavation, site cuts, trenching, and material movement
Reading and working from plans, levels, and set-outs
Conducting daily pre-starts and ensuring machinery is maintained in safe working order
Working collaboratively with supervisors and ground crew to meet project milestones
Safely working around services, structures, and other site elements
Assisting with general site tasks when not on the machine
Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Proven experience operating excavators on landscape, civil, or infrastructure projects
Relevant plant operating tickets and White Card
A solid understanding of excavation techniques, levels, and safe work practices
Ability to work to plan and follow supervisor instructions
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
Physically fit and happy to assist on-ground when needed
HR/MR licence and additional plant tickets (advantageous)
