With a remarkable legacy spanning over four decades and a global presence across Africa, the Middle East, North and South America, Australia, and the Asia-Pacific, we offer an unparalleled experience for growth and innovation.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator – Electrical to join the operations and maintenance team at Mt Carlton Gold Mine in Central QLD.The Maintenance Coordinator – Electricalis responsible for leading the execution of electrical maintenance activities as well as working with the planning team to develop scheduled maintenance plans.
This role will play a key part in maintaining safety & reliability through engagement with onsite stakeholders and contractors.This role will be offered on a Max Term Full Time Contract and will see you work a 8/6 Roster Day shift only.
This role will be BIBO from the Townsville Region.
Accommodation and Meals are supplied whilst on site.Duties will include but not be limited to:-Lead and provide technical support to electrical personnel within the processing plantHold the position of Person In Control of Electrical Works (PCEW) and ensure compliance with QLD mining legislation, Australian Standards,



and site proceduresMaintain maintenance records and technical documentation in accordance with the site Electrical Safety Management PlanLiase with the maintenance planners to develop weekly and shutdown maintenance plansTo be successful in this role, you will have:-Trade qualification as an Electrician with a current Electrical LicenceProven experience leading teams within a gold processing plant, mineral processing facility or heavy industrial environmentExperience maintaining fixed plant electrical systems including High and Low Voltage, MCCs, Switchboards, VSDs, PLC/SCADA and InstrumentationCurrent Mining, Minerals and Quarries Medical – DesirableHV Switching Certification – DesirableExperience with CMMS systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP) - DesirableStrong safety mindset with a commitment to following procedures and site standards.Right to Work in Australia – EssentialPlease note, that as apart of our recruitment process you will be required to complete a police clearance, Functional Capacity Evaluation and drug and alcohol screen.Accommodation and Meals are supplied whilst on site.We value diversity and the advantages it brings to achieving our objectives, enhancing our reputation, and attracting, engaging, and retaining talented people.
