With long-term service contracts supporting multiple logistics and robotics clients this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business working on some of Australia's most advanced automated systems.BenefitsPermanent full-time roleLong-term service contracts providing excellent job securityOngoing technical training and career developmentExposure to highly automated systems and new technologyMix of stable site-based work and project-based varietyShift Structure & PayRotating shifts (2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons, 2 weeks nights)$***** per hour base rate + 15% afternoon shift loading & 30% night shift loadingGUARANTEED OVERTIMEBase salary (40hrs): $119k + superSalary with weekday OT (50hrs): $163k + superSalary with additional alternating weekend OT: $191k + superThe RoleYou'll be responsible for maintaining and fault finding on sophisticated automated material handling and robotic systemsYour responsibilities will include:Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response across conveyor systemsPreventative maintenance on motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings and mechanical drive componentsBelt tracking, alignment and replacement on conveyor systemsMaintenance of hydraulic systems and lifting equipmentSupporting automated parking systems including lifts, hoists and transfer mechanismsAssisting with upgrades, installs and improvements on both legacy and new equipmentYou'll also gain exposure to electrical systems, working closely alongside controls and electrical teams as part of a broader automation environment.RequirementsTrade qualified Mechanical FitterExperience with conveyors, motors and mechanical systemsExposure to hydraulics highly regarded
