asking for donations, preparing proposals and Case for Support materials, coordinating appeals, organising events and seeking recent opportunities.About the Person:The successful candidate will be an experienced fundraiser, with an understanding of technical fundraising who can support the delivery of tangible results in this diverse and exciting role.Candidates will have the following:· A relevant university degree or equivalent experience;· Achievements in fundraising / philanthropy / sponsorship;· Experience in preparation of letters and documents used for approaching prospective supporters;· Experience in supporting prospect cultivation and stewardship plans;· Ability to interrogate and manage databases, as well as to perform research and identify opportunities;· Strong communication and interpersonal skills;· Excellent writing, transcription, editing and proofreading skills;· An understanding of and commitment to the FIA Code.
