With over 40 years of experience, the business has built an outstanding reputation delivering major projects across the data centre, healthcare, commercial, defence and critical infrastructure sectors.
Their project portfolio includes some of Australia's most technically complex mechanical installations, with a strong pipeline of secured work continuing well into the future.
As part of their strategic growth plans, they are now looking to appoint a Construction Manager to establish and grow their Canberra operation.

About the Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading the Canberra construction division from an operational perspective.
Rather than managing individual projects, your focus will be on leading Project Managers, supporting project delivery, developing client relationships and driving the continued growth of the ACT business.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring people, building teams and creating a high-performing culture while helping shape the future direction of the Canberra branch.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers




Provide operational oversight across multiple mechanical projects
Drive commercial and operational performance
Build and maintain key client relationships across the ACT market
Support business development and identify new project opportunities
Recruit, mentor and grow the Canberra delivery team
Work closely with senior leadership on the growth strategy for the ACT business
Ensure projects are appropriately resourced and supported throughout delivery
About You
Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Project Manager
Solid background within the mechanical contracting industry
Proven leadership and people management experience
Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills
Passion for mentoring teams and growing a business
Experience across major commercial, healthcare, defence or mission-critical projects will be highly regarded
