APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Civil) to lead the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects based in Nerang.This is a 12-month contract chance with the possibility of a further 12-month extension, providing the opportunity to manage significant road infrastructure projects within a government environment.Reporting to the Team Leader (Preconstruction), you will oversee project delivery, provide specialist engineering expertise, manage commercial outcomes, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of key components of road infrastructure programsProvide high-level engineering advice across planning, design, construction and project delivery activitiesManage project budgets, forecasts, expenditure and commercial outcomesAct as the Representative of the Principal for delegated contract delivery responsibilitiesOversee tender processes, assessments and contract award activitiesManage contractors, consultants, stakeholders and project risksEnsure quality,



environmental and safety requirements are identified and maintainedProvide reporting on project progress, financial performance and forecastsManage project systems, processes and operational delivery requirementsBuild effective relationships with internal teams, government stakeholders and external partnersIdentify and manage high-risk, complex and sensitive project issuesMandatory RequirementsFour-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or equivalent recognised by Engineers AustraliaCurrent Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) registrationMinimum 15 years' experience delivering transport infrastructure projectsCurrent Class C Driver's LicenceConstruction Industry White Card (or equivalent)Ability to successfully complete a criminal history checkThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior Civil Project Manager with extensive transport infrastructure experience to contribute to major road projects.
