About the Role
We are seeking a Contract Officer to join our team.
This role will:
Help us innovate to meet the challenges of our growing cities as a Contract Officer within the Operational Contracts teamPlay a key role in managing Contractors delivering key water, wastewater and stormwater maintenance programs and support services across Sydney Water's area of operationsIn addition to managing work delivery will be responsible for verification of payment claims, site inspections, customer and stakeholder management plus data analysis and reporting
About You
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, and/or 3+ years relevant contract / project management experience, and/or relevant water industry construction or maintenance experienceAbility to form strong,



positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with a genuine customer focusKnowledge in contract and project managementGood written and verbal communications skillsAbility to apply time management principles to ensure timeframes are met.Commitment to drive safety improvements with our ContractorsA current driver's licence is a requirement of this role
