Gram Engineering is excited to offer a full-time position at its head office for a friendly, organised and hard-working team member to fill the role of management and tax accountant for a wholesale and retail steel fabrication business and its associated entities (including trusts and a SMSF).
Our location has in office parking and is conveniently placed within a short walk to the T-Way.
We are a family run and owned business with our head office based in Smithfield with the business operating nation-wide.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skill set:
Skills Required
Excellent computer skills with experience in a variety of accounting software packages and excelMethodical and thorough approachAbility to manage and report to deadlines
Desirable Skills / Qualifications
Tertiary accounting qualification with a minimum of 10+ years work experience in the field of accountingCompetency with the general ledger,



journal entries and reconciliationsExperience with GST and BAS preparation, FBT and TPARExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong attention to detail and time management skills
Tasks will include
Payroll and associated tasks for 40+ staffDebtor and creditor managementReconciliations and paymentsBalance sheet, Profit & Loss and month end processesProducing monthly management reportsTimely provision of information to external accountant / Tax AgentFiling and managing various archiving processesAd hoc project workGeneral administrative support to the Managing Director.
MYOB EXO experience is an advantage
Salary is negotiable depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
Office hours are usually 7am – 4.30pm, with some variation and reduction.
