About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Financial Controller.
If you have a strong foundation in accounting and Finance, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Control:Ensure timely and accurate month-end transactions, close processes, reconciliations, and reporting.
Manage payroll and ensure on-time compliance with ATO requirements, including BAS, FBT and end of Financial Year Reporting.
Finance Systems:Oversee and manage the General Ledger, Payroll and ERP system.
Business Partnering:Act as the key finance business partner,



providing financial insights and guidance to internal stakeholders and supporting decision‐making processes.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement:Monitor and update finance policies, manage debt and expenditure recognition, and lead continuous improvement efforts across finance systems and processes.
Skills & Experience
A University degree in accounting, with CA/CPA qualification.
Experience in financial and management accounting roles, with a deep understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation legislation.
Experience working with an ERP system
Ability to manage and resolve issues, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Hands‐on approach and commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent computer skills particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with the Directors and senior management
