We are proud to be involved in some of Australia's most prestigious construction projects.Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Stonemason to join our skilled and dedicated team.About the RoleThis is a hands-on role requiring a high level of craftsmanship and technical skill.
You will be responsible for cutting, shaping, installing, and repairing natural and manufactured stone across a variety of construction and renovation projects, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudy and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methodsCut, shape, polish, and fit hard and soft stone using hand tools and machineryMix and apply mortar and adhesives to set stone accuratelyConstruct stone walls, blockwork, pillars, arches, feature walls,



and retaining structuresCheck vertical and horizontal alignment to ensure precision and structural integrityRepair, restore, and maintain existing stone and masonry structuresWork independently or collaboratively within small teams, including providing on-site guidance where appropriateMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant worksite at all timesAccurately record daily progress and job details using company software systemsSkills, Qualifications and ExperienceTrade qualification in Stonemasonry (Certificate III or IV or equivalent) or significant relevant industry experienceMinimum 2-3 years of hands-on stonemasonry experience in construction, renovation, or restoration environmentsStrong knowledge of traditional and up-to-date stonemasonry techniquesHigh attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipSound understanding of workplace health and safety requirementsWhat We OfferExposure to high-end and technically diverse projectsSupportive team culture within a respected family businessOpportunities for career progression and skill development
