Reporting directly to the General Manager Quality & Business Services, you will lead a small team and be responsible for:Overseeing quality management systems, risk, legislative compliance, insurance and enterprise registrationsLeading continuous improvement of quality, governance, policies and business continuity practicesDeveloping and implementing effective business processes and governance frameworksManaging quality planning, resources and audit schedules to ensure timely deliveryDriving the development, review and maintenance of organisational policies, procedures and documentationPromoting a culture of quality through training, communication and non-conformance managementPreparing reports and providing governance support to the Executive and BoardWhat is in it for you?
Salary benefits: We offer all employees the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 each year for living expenses and up to $2,650 each year for meal and entertainment benefits.Leave allowances: In addition to your annual leave allowance, we offer one day of paid birthday or day of significance leave, paid days off during our end of year closure period (if these fall within your regular work days), enhanced personal leave and extended parental leave for all parents.

Access to continuous professional development, staff recognition programs, a paid volunteering day and paid study leave.About youTo be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Quality and/or Change ManagementA minimum 5 years of experience in a similar roleDemonstrated experience in provision of governance, risk and compliance activities to Board and Executive levelExperience in lead development and implementation of quality assurance, governance, risk and compliance models and in facilitating change associated with new frameworks, systems and business operationsEmbrace change and lead with focus and optimism, champion change and influence others to be open and accepting to changeMaintains a high standard of practice through financial and risk management, and governanceThinks critically and acts on the broader purpose of the organisationOur culture statementsWe are aligned in our PurposeWe lead with our Head and HeartWe work together CollaborativelyAbout usDementia Australia is the national peak body and source of trusted information, education and services for the over 446,500 Australians living with dementia, and the almost 1.7 million people involved in their care.
