shearline cutters and mesh & trench mesh machines.Fault Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical faults and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.Installation and Commissioning: Assist with the setup, alignment, and testing of new machinery and mechanical systemsFabrication and Repairs: Use hand tools, welding equipment, and machining tools to fabricate or modify components as neededHydraulics and Pneumatics: Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, and compressorsWorkshop and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventorySafety and Compliance: Adhere to WHS policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all work meets regulatory standardsContinuous Improvement: Participate in cross‐functional projects with Engineering and Quality teams, contributing to process improvements and equipment upgradesWhat You'll BringTrade Qualified Mechanical Maintenance FitterValid driver's licence and reliable transportExperience with reinforcing steel equipment highly desirableStrong time management and prioritisation skillsA proactive mindset and "can‐do" attitudeExcellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a teamHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environmentApplicants must have the right to live and work in Australia.
