We are seeking an experienced and hands-onFinancial Controllerto lead our finance function.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Group while providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function across multiple entities within the Group.
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management reports, financial analysis and performance insights.
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting, taxation and regulatory obligations.
Develop strong working relationships with external accountants, bankers, insurers and other advisers.
Provide commercial and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Review and improve financial systems, controls and business processes.
Oversee the Group's insurance portfolio,



ensuring policies remain current and appropriate.
Coordinate annual tax planning and forecasting with external accountants.
Lead, mentor and develop a team of three finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a confident finance leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen and excellent leadership skills.
You will bring:
5+ years of experience in a senior finance or financial management role.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
CPA or CA qualification (Highly regarded).
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and statutory compliance.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with MYOB (essential).
Experience with Wage Easy (desirable).
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
