NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced Lead Rigger for a permanent role with our client based at their Yatala depot.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tower crane operations, solid leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of WHS and rigging compliance requirements.Responsibilities in this role will include:Leading riggers, dogmen and tower crane crews both in the yard and on siteCoordinating crane lifts and rigging activities with project teamsHelping to oversee tower crane assembly, installation, disassembly and relocation of cranes & rigging equipment in line with manufacturer and site requirementsEnsuring all operations meet WHS and compliance standardsAssisting in managing equipment readiness,



inspections and maintenance schedulesDriving daily pre starts, toolbox talks and safety-first behavioursAlong with the above skill set, the right person will possess the following:4+ years of experience in tower crane riggingProven leadership experience leading site crewsHave the ability to read and understand manuals and strive to find information themselvesBe quality focused with strong attention to detailBe calm under pressure and solution orientedIntermediate Rigging (RI) HRWLThis is a Monday to Friday role, with Saturdays usually also required based on workload.A permanent hourly pay rate of $65/hr plus penalties is on offer, based on experience and qualifications.
