In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our guest rooms and public spaces are beautifully presented, clean, and welcoming.
Your work directly shapes the guest experience, helping us deliver the high standards of comfort and care that The Oceanfront Cairns will be known for.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and service guest rooms to brand standards, ensuring a high level of presentationMaintain cleanliness of public areas, corridors, and service spacesReplenish amenities, linen, and supplies as requiredReport maintenance issues, room discrepancies,



or safety concernsFollow cleaning procedures and hygiene standards, including safe use of chemicalsWork efficiently to meet daily room quotas and service expectationsUphold a friendly, professional, and guest‐focused approach at all timesQualificationsPrevious housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality is highly regardedStrong attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a fast‐paced teamReliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive workplace culturePhysically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handlingFriendly, guest‐focused attitude with strong communication skillsAvailability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
