Ground Vegetable Picker and Packer - Bundaberg, QLDJob Type: Contract position | Casual positionJob DescriptionOur client is an industry leading agribusiness with sophisticated Vegetable operations located in Bundaberg, QLD.
They are currently looking to fill 100 Ground Vegetable Picker and Packer positions across their farming site, with work commencing from July **** onwards.
You will be required to work in a farming environment where weather conditions typically include cool mornings and hot days from late September through October and into November, with temperatures increasing rapidly.Work is usually outdoors where you are required to perform repetitive tasks such as picking up pumpkins and melons or stacking boxes.
You will be paid under Agri Labour Australia Horticulture Agreement **** - Level 2, at a minimum hourly rate of $***** per hour, with at least 120 hours of work, every 4 weeks of your placement.
This will be aligned with the FairWork Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay.
You will be offered up to 9 months of work and potential to upskill into leadership roles.
