You will report to the Workshop Manager, and your role will include repairing and manufacturing new driveshafts.
The ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and work well within a team will be vital to the success of this role.
You must be able to work independently, demonstrate robust initiative and be self-motivated.

grinders etc.Liaising with workshop staff as part of production processDirecting and mentoring trades assistants and apprentices where applicableContribute ideas on systems and improvementsEnsure work is performed in accordance with safety requirementsAny other associated tasks to meet the business needs within your capacitySkills and QualificationsExperience with Driveshafts preferred but not essentialCert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Equivalent QualificationExperience in using manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)Welding skills and experienceClass C licence and reliable transportLF High-Risk Work Licence to Operate Forklift Truck will be highly regardedDogging High-Risk Work Licence will be highly regardedFirst Aid Certificate would be an advantageTo be successful in this role you willAlways maintain a high standard of workmanship and excellent attention to detail and precisionExcellent work ethic and previous good attendance recordHigh level of self-motivation required to complete tasks as soon as possibleBe an exceptional communicator and be able to work autonomouslyHave good physical strength and staminaBe willing to work overtime if requiredEnsure workspace is kept clean, tidy and organisedCommitment to work in accordance with WHS rules and regulations, as well as company policies & procedures
