Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations.
Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
Clerk Grade 5/6 – Salary from $102,936 up to $113,579 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading
About the Role
As an Assistant Project Officer, you'll provide practical project and financial administration support across Fisheries & Forestry.
You'll help coordinate project records, reporting, milestones, risks, budgets and compliance requirements, while keeping stakeholders informed and supporting good project governance.
This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable working across multiple priorities in a busy team environment.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Solid administration experience and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail when preparing records, reports and project documents.
Confidence supporting project, finance and governance processes.
Clear communication skills and a practical, customer-focused approach.
The ability to use technology to manage data, information and records.
Good judgement, integrity and the confidence to raise risks or issues early.
A versatile, collaborative approach and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
