Help Shape the Future of a Growing Accounting & Advisory FirmSydney | Full Time | HybridAbout UsWe are a growing accounting and advisory firm providing:Outsourced CFO & Advisory ServicesTax AdvisoryAccounting & Compliance ServicesWe are entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded leader to help improve the way our business operates and support our next stage of growth.This is a newly created role that will work closely with the Partners and play an important role in helping the firm become more efficient, scalable and client-focused.The firm has been growing consistently at an average of 35% per year for the past 4 years.
We would like this to continue and require a proactive and organised Practice Manager to be part of the journey.About the RoleThis role sits between traditional practice management and business operations.You'll be responsible for helping ensure the firm runs smoothly day-to-day while supporting the implementation of systems, processes and initiatives that improve team performance and client outcomes.For the right person, this role offers a genuine prospect to grow into a broader leadership position as the firm continues to expand.Key ResponsibilitiesPractice OperationsSupport the day-to-day running of the firmCoordinate workflow and help ensure deadlines are metAssist with capacity planning and resource allocationIdentify operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunitiesTeam SupportAssist with onboarding new team membersHelp maintain a positive and accountable team cultureSupport internal communication and coordinationAssist Partners with people-related initiativesProcess & SystemsImprove internal processes and workflowsHelp maintain and optimise practice management systemsAssist with implementation of new tools and technologiesSupport documentation and standard operating proceduresClient ExperienceAssist in delivering a high-quality client experienceHelp improve onboarding and communication processesMonitor service standards and turnaround timesBusiness SupportAssist with KPI reporting and business performance trackingHelp drive operational projects and improvement initiativesWork closely with the Partners on strategic prioritiesAbout YouYou will need to have had significant experience working in a private practice accounting firm in the following areas:Practice ManagerOffice ManagerClient Services ManagerYou Will Ideally HaveStrong organisational and coordination skillsExcellent communication skillsA proactive, solutions-focused mindsetThe ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesBonus Points ForExperience with practice management softwareProcess improvement experienceProject coordination experienceExposure to KPI reporting and business operationsLeadership or team coordination experienceWhat Success Looks LikeIn your first 12 months you'll help:Improve workflow visibilityIncrease operational efficiencyEnhance the client experienceSupport the development of scalable processesCreate greater capacity for the PartnersBuild your own leadership capability as the firm growsWhy Join Us?
