The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager you will play a key leadership role in driving operational performance, safety excellence, and business outcomes across Moranbah Gas Plant on a 2&2 Roster.
You will provide leadership and strategic direction across operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production while meeting contractual and financial targets.Key responsibilities include:Leading safe and compliant operations across gas processing, water treatment, and associated facilitiesDelivering production targets, operational plans, and contractual KPIsManaging OPEX, CAPEX, and workforce planningDriving continuous improvement in plant reliability, uptime, and efficiencyBuilding and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationshipsLeading and developing multidisciplinary leadership teamsEnsuring compliance with relevant petroleum, safety, and environmental legislationLead, develop and manage teams, including workforce planning and partnering with HR on recruitment and development initiativesChampion a strong safety culture,



lead incident reviews, and ensure proactive risk identification and mitigation.Qualifications and Experience Required:Engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experienceExtensive experience in gas processing, hydrocarbon, or chemical processing operationsProven leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary teamsStrong operational and financial management capabilityExperience managing major hazard facilities and high risk environmentsDemonstrated success in improving operational performance and reliabilityExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsCoal Seam Gas experience and a robust understanding of Australian regulatory requirements will be highly regarded.What We Offer:At GR Production Services, we are committed to delivering excellence across the energy and resources sector.
