M&JD; Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliableEarthmoving Equipment Trainerto join our team at our Willowbank, QLD location.
You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining a high level of operator competency in alignment with business needs, while also developing, implementing, assessing and continuously improving the site's training system.
This includes creating and updating training packages, managing competency frameworks, and ensuring assessment processes remain effective, consistent, and fit for purpose.
Your work will be integral to the success of our operations, contributing directly to project timelines and quality standards across the operation.
Flexible looking for full time role or contractor role.Key responsibilitiesConducting assessments and verification of competencyCoaching and mentoring operators in the fieldWorking with supervisors to identify training gaps and priorities and developing training matrixEnsuring statutory compliance and safe work proceduresMaintaining training records and materialsPromoting safe, productive and consistent operating standards across siteDeveloping and implementing training programs for new equipment operatorsEvaluating trainees' progress and providing feedback to improve their skillsPreparing reports on trainees' progress and training program effectivenessWhat we're looking forSound operational experience with operating earthmoving machinery in landfill, construction or mining environmentsStrong communication,



teamwork and presentation skillsAbility to engage and mentor adult learnersStrong organisational and record-keeping abilitiesComputer literate, with solid Microsoft Office skills and experience developing, mapping and validating quality training materialsStrong understanding of health and safety regulations, including site-specific safety requirements and proceduresReliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to protected work practicesCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) - essentialExperience in landfill operations is desirableWhat we offerM&JD; Pty Ltd values our team members and offers a supportive work environment where safety and professionalism are paramount.
