About the Role
Working within our Design & Construction (HDC) team, you'll assist with the construction and installation of specialised healthcare environments including:
Radiation shielding installations
Lead-lined walls, doors and windows
Specialist timber framing and fit-outs
Installation of proprietary shielding systems
Cabinetry,



finishing and internal fit-out work
Medical Storage
Site preparation and project installations
Working alongside electricians, mechanical contractors and project managers
Travelling to customer sites across Australia and New Zealand when required
Every project is different, providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills beyond traditional carpentry.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
A recently qualified carpenter or currently completing a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year carpentry apprenticeship
Passionate about producing quality workmanship
Eager to learn specialised construction techniques
Works with a can-do attitude
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work both independently and within a team
Professional when working on hospital and healthcare sites
Safety focused with excellent attention to detail
Willing to travel for installation work when required
Ability to read construction drawings (or willingness to learn)
Experience using a wide range of power and hand tools
