The precinct spans multiple bars, a beer garden, rooftop, kiosk, function spaces and live music, plus The Docks, our overwater Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and bar.
Around 70 staff, two venues, and an events calendar that's only just getting started.About the roleThis is not only a coordinator role.
You'll own the functions and events revenue line across the precinct - selling it, delivering it, and growing it.
The role is a hybrid of sales, event management and creative programming:Hunt and win corporate, community and private function business - outbound sales, networking, local partnershipsManage events end to end: enquiry, proposal, contracting, delivery and post-event reviewCreate activations that draw a crowd - themed events, day clubs, live music programming,



seasonal campaigns - and prove they worked with the numbersWork alongside our Executive Chef on menus and costings, and our Marketing Manager on promotionReport directly to the General Manager with real accountability for revenueAbout you3+ years in event sales or event management within hospitality, venues, hotels or catering, with a revenue record you can point toA salesperson's instincts: prospecting, proposals, negotiating, closingGenuinely creative - you can show us events or activations you came up with, not just ranCommercially sharp: budgets, margins, targets, conversionCurrent QLD RSA; RMLV and marketing experience (campaigns, digital/social, content) desirableAvailable for event days - this is hospitality, and you'll be where the action isWhat's on offer$100,000+ all-inclusive salary (negotiable for the right candidate) + 12% superPerformance bonus of up to 20% of salary, tied to revenue targetsRelocation support for the right candidateA brand-recent flagship venue, full ownership of the events program, and the backing to build it your way
