Minimum five years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three years full time equivalent Acute Care experience and post graduate qualifications in a related specialty field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.Knowledge of VTE prevention strategies, transfusion safety issues and current Australian Transfusion Standards and Guidelines.
Demonstrated Clinical Leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in Nursing-Midwifery practice.
Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, review and redevelopment of policy, procedures and education programmes.Demonstrated involvement in the development-change of clinical practice underpinned by evidence-based research.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning.
