We are currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team!
This role includes a mix of workshop, field service, and occasional international work (including Pacific Islands, PNG etc ) supporting generator installation projects and ongoing servicing and maintenance.
What you'll do
Service, repair and maintain a range of diesel generators from 2kVA to ****kVA
Working on new technology, BESS Battery Energy Storage System, hybrid systems and hydrogen generators.
Training will be provided.
Diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and respond to breakdowns.
Assist with installations, commissioning and testing of generator systems
Travel to remote sites as required for short-term projects or emergency support




Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols
Collaborate with other technicians and project managers.
What we're looking for
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Diesel or equivalent)
Previous experience with generator servicing or mobile plant an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A willingness to travel (FIFO when required)
Current driver's license (manual essential)
White Card and/or confined space / working at heights tickets highly regarded
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Professional, positive attitude and commitment to safety
