Casual Freight Screening Officer - BrisbaneAustralian Concert & Entertainment Security – Brisbane QLDAbout the role: We are seeking casual Cargo Screeners for aviation facilities in Brisbane, with the possibility of a full time role in the future.As a Freight Screening Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of cargo goods and services flowing through our facilities.
You will be responsible for conducting thorough screenings of Cargo and performing security related taskings to include gatehouse duties.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.Perform security screenings of freight consignments using screening equipment.Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with transportation security regulations and guidelines.Identify and respond to potential threats, prohibited weapons, and suspicious behaviours.Document and report any security incidents or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.Skills, experience & requirements:Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Air Cargo Examination Officer,
