We are committed to providing high-quality homes, exceptional service, and vibrant communities that inspire and excite our residents.Join us in redefining over-50s living.We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Full-time Groundskeeper to join our Palm Lake Resort Tweed Riverteam and help keep our resort grounds in pristine condition.This is a Full-timerole, working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday in a hands-on capacity to maintain our gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing.
Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort grounds are presented to a high standard for our residents and visitors year-round.Responsibilities:Hedge & tree trimming;Mowing, edging & whipper snipping;Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides;Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation;Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including watering and maintenance of irrigation systems;Oversee the outdoor presentation of all facilities,
including BBQ & pool maintenance;Launching and parking recreational boats for resident use;Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working orderWhat We're Looking For:We are looking for someone who shares our values and belief that respect, passion, community, impact & safety underpin all the work we do.To excel in this role, you will bring:A "C" class open driver's licence (essential);Relevant gardening experience in a similar role;Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous;ACDC chemical licence is advantageous;Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride-on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower;Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying;Initiative & the ability to work with limited supervision.Why Join Us?
