As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Inventory & Stores Person to join our Cairns team.

About the Role
As our Inventory & Stores Person, you'll play an significant role in ensuring our manufacturing team has the right materials, in the right place, at the right time.
Working within our warehouse and stores area, you'll be responsible for receiving, organising and managing inventory that supports the production of our premium aluminium and glass products.
This is a full-time position working:
Monday to Friday7:00am - 3:06pm
No two days are exactly the same, making this a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active and being part of a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Receiving deliveries of glass, aluminium and manufacturing components.
Accurately receipting stock into our inventory management system.
Organising and storing materials safely within designated racks and storage locations.
Picking and allocating stock for production and manufacturing teams.
Operating a forklift (where licensed) and handling materials safely.
Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock control.
Performing general warehouse and stores housekeeping.
Following safe work procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture.
Working closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You'll be someone who has:
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, inventory or logistics role (preferred but not essential).
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining organised work areas.
Basic computer skills and confidence learning inventory systems.
The ability to safely perform manual handling and physical work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow processes and procedures.
A commitment to workplace safety.
A current forklift licence, or a willingness to obtain one (fully supported and paid for by Bradnam's).
Experience within manufacturing or working with aluminium, glass or building products will be highly regarded, but is certainly not essential.
