Nature's Care is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead our QC Chemist team.This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with strong technical expertise and leadership potential who is ready to progress into a supervisory position.
This role will play a key role in supporting product quality, compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence.Reporting to the QA Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the QC Chemists, ensuring all testing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.You will lead a team of QC Chemists, providing technical guidance, coaching and support while ensuring laboratory resources, equipment and systems and effectively managed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise and develop the QC Chemist teamCoordinate laboratory testing on raw materials, bulk products, finished goods, stability samples and environmental monitoring programsReview and approve laboratory results, COAs and laboratory documentationEnsure all testing is conducted in accordance with GMP, TGA and company requirementsManage laboratory workloads, priorities, and resource planning to meet business requirementsOversee laboratory investigations including deviations, OOS, OOT, CAPAs and root cause analysis.Ensure laboratory equipment qualification, calibration, maintenance and servicing schedules are maintained.Support analytical method validation,



verification and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor laboratory KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance and performance.Assist with regulatory and audits.Maintain laboratory procedures, specifications and quality records.Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvementAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Degree qualification in Chemistry, Science or related disciplinePrevious experience in laboratory leadership or supervisor role within supplements, complementary medicines, food, or related GMP regulated industriesStrong knowledge of GMP, TGA and quality management systemsExperience with analytical techniques including HPLC, GCUnderstanding of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring and laboratory controlsProven experience managing investigations, CAPAs, deviations and OOS resultsStrong leadership, communication, and team development skillsExcellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesNature's Care is a leading Australian company with well‐known brands, an integrated business model, and a growing presence both locally and internationally.
