Additional Benefits: £3,000 car allowance or company car, 32 days annual leave including bank holidays, Ofsted bonus and occupancy bonus
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up to lead a reopened solo‐bed children's residential home in the NW1 area of London.
This is an excellent chance for a confident children's residential leader to take ownership of a small, focused EBD provision and play a key role in delivering a stable, nurturing and high-quality service for a young person with emotional and behavioural needs.
The home is a solo‐bed EBD service and is reopening, so this role would suit someone who enjoys building strong foundations, embedding good practice and creating a positive culture from the outset.
The role will involve:
You will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and development of the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted expectations, Children's Homes Regulations and the organisation's values.
You will lead and support the staff team, maintain high standards of care, oversee safeguarding and compliance, and work closely with placing authorities, families and professionals to achieve positive outcomes for the young person.
Package includes:
Basic salary of £52,000
Potential to earn up to £58,600 through bonuses

£3,000 car allowance or company car worth up to £5,400 per year
32 days annual leave, including bank holidays
Annual leave increases by one day per year for the first three years
£3,000 bonus for an Outstanding Ofsted report
£1,500 bonus for a Good Ofsted report
£300 per month occupancy bonus at full occupancy
On-call included within salary and shared with the Deputy Manager
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience as a Registered Manager, or strong Deputy Manager experience within children's residential care
Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a senior leadership role
Experience supporting children and young people with EBD
A track record of contributing to or achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
Level 3 Children and Young People qualification, or equivalent
Level 5 Leadership and Management completed, underway, or willingness to continue
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and Children's Homes Regulations
Ability to build a strong team culture and lead by example
A stable employment history and good professional references
Must be within a realistic commuting distance of NW1
Any previous disciplinaries, safeguarding concerns or failed Fit Person interviews must be declared at application stage.
This role would suit someone who is confident, resilient and passionate about delivering genuinely high-quality care within a small, child-focused setting
