You will carry out a range of painting and surface preparation tasks across residential and industrial environments.

FIFO Opportunities from Cairns.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral painting to accommodation buildingPrepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, grinding, and blastingApply primers, sealers, and protective coatings.Paint structures, equipment, machinery, and buildings using spray guns, rollers,



and brushes.Mix paints and coatings to the correct specifications.Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups where necessary.Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean.Read and interpret work orders and technical specifications.Work efficiently as part of a maintenance or shutdown team.Assist with yard maintenance and preparation duties as requiredAbout youYou are a reliable and skilled painter who works well both independently and as part of a team.
Hav extensive experience in labour hire environments, quickly adapting to different worksites, safety procedures, and project requirements.
Demonstrating strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
Dependable, punctual, and able to build productive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients while consistently meeting deadlines.Must HavesTrade Qualification in Painting & DecoratingConstruction White Card.Ability to pass pre‐employment medical assessments.Manual Australian C Class Drivers' Licence (no restrictions)G1 – Apply Risk Management Processes Certificate or ability to obtainEWP, Working at Heights, or similar tickets (desirable).
