We are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Refrigeration and Airconditioning Technicians to join our team in Silverdale NSW.
Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:Inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of equipment according to requirements including units, mounting gear and piping.Perform repairs and routine maintenance duties on equipment and its components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, gas, refrigerant, etc.Run equipment to observe and test its operation and perform any required adjustmentsPerform repairs or adjustments on piping connections, valves, couplings and fittings by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing, and soldering applying hand and power toolsOrder replacement of equipment parts as required, perform repairs as ordered, and keep record of servicing on equipmentCarry out minor electrical maintenance work, such as repair or replacement of fixtures, including wall switches and outlets, ballast, incandescent and fluorescent tubes and bulbs, fuses, sockets, etc.,



by applying the right toolsFill up units and systems with gas required fluid checking for leaksPerform related duties that may be and refrigerating equipment assignedSkills and Abilities:Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration tradeAt least 2 years of hands-on working experience in similar positionAble to work in places where they are exposed to dust, fumes, noise, toxic materials, and high voltage equipmentCapable of working in confined and hot spaces like roofs, crawl ways and atticsAbility to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching, crouching, push/pull objects, etc.Ability to work with manual or power tools and operate motorized vehiclesStrong knowledge of the methods, practices, test instruments, tools, and materials typically applied in repairing and servicing various refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and other similar equipmentStrong knowledge of the hazards involved in the occupation, and the safety precautions to takeStrong knowledge of the repair characteristics and mechanical operation of various types of air conditioningSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Positions available Applications open on 29th June **** and closes on 29th July ****.
