Active Diesel Services is a family-owned business based in Yandina operating since **** specialising in servicing earthmoving equipment on the Sunshine Coast and surrounds.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to work in our workshop located in Yandina as well as onsite when required.
This role is a full time position with the successful candidate be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs of various equipment, including Graders, Dozers, and Excavators.
Ad-hoc field service to the surrounding areas, within a few hours' drive of the workshop, will be required as part of this position.
This may include short term away work for some of our regional customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy earth-moving equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and attend machine breakdowns on site.
Candidate Skills & Experience:
Relevant Trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting, or equivalent
3+ years fitting experience, preferably on heavy earth-moving equipment
Extensive experience working with Caterpillar equipment, SIS and ET
