Working collaboratively with our estimating and delivery teams, you'll contribute to successful tenders from initial review through to submission.Preparing quantity take-offs from drawings and specificationsDeveloping cost estimates for labour, plant, materials and subcontractorsTalking with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricingReviewing project documentation to ensure pricing accuracy and completenessPreparing tender programs and contributing to construction methodologiesAssisting with tender submissions and supporting bid documentationSupporting construction planning and costing strategiesMaintaining estimating databases, benchmarking information and tender recordsParticipating in tender reviews, handovers and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouYou'll be a detail-oriented estimator who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a collaborative team.Ideally,



you'll bring:Local to the Brisbane Region essentialPrevious estimating experience within civil constructionThe ability to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong Excel skills and experience using Expert Estimator SoftwareExperience using MS Project and basic programming skillsPractical knowledge of civil construction methods,Subcontractor markets and supplier pricingExcellent analytical, organisational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlinesSite based experience, a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.Why Join Pentacon?
