About the Role
As for our teachers, they are responsible for the intellectual development and wellbeing of their students.
They do this by developing and delivering academic programs through the Dalton Plan, managing the administration of student assessment and results, and marking / record keeping to a regular cycle to keep our students engaged, motivated, and able to reach their learning goals throughout the year.
To complement this, we engage a pool of casual teachers who are experienced, subject matter and curriculum experts, and able to step in for either half / full teaching days,
or short blocks as required.
To this end, we are currently looking for teachers to work on a casual basis throughout the academic year and in subjects as follows:

What You Will Do
Teach girls in years 7 to 12, and according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) curriculum and Dalton principles of responsibility, independence, collaboration and reflectionEnsure the knowledge, understanding and success of each studentUse an innovative curriculum via the school Learning Management System (CANVAS)Use formative and summative assessment to determine student progressCreate a stimulating classroom environment where students can flourishAssist other members of the department and share resources.Assist with the supervision of excursions after hours as requiredOther duties as directed by the Head of Department.
What You Will Bring
A tertiary qualification in teachingAccreditation to teach in NSW with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Ability to differentiate for a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girlsAbility to teach to HSC levels.Demonstrated excellence in communication and writing skills.Proven ICT skills within an environment where students bring a personal device to school.Well-developed time management and organisational skills.Willingness to continue to develop as a teacher.A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.A valid Working with Children clearance.
