Angelica Mexican is part of Lucky Venues, a growing Sydney hospitality group that currently operates Baja Cantina, with two more venues opening this year.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who is punctual, professional, calm under pressure, and sees hospitality as a long-term career.
You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior team to deliver great service, support daily operations, and help lead the team on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day restaurant operations
Lead and support the front-of-house team during service
Maintain high service standards and guest experience
Handle busy services confidently and professionally
Make and serve cocktails to a high standard
Support staff training, supervision, and team communication
Assist with basic admin tasks, rostering, reporting, emails, and Microsoft Office use
Help maintain cleanliness, presentation, and compliance standards
Work closely with management to improve service, sales, and operations
About You




Previous experience in a restaurant supervisor or assistant manager role
Strong cocktail‐making knowledge and bar experience
Confident working in a rapid‐paced hospitality environment
Punctual, reliable, and responsible
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Good understanding of restaurant service flow
Able to handle pressure and solve problems calmly
Passionate about hospitality and looking for long‐term career growth
RSA required
Full working rights in Australia required.
