We are currently seeking to appoint a Student Support Officer for the Philippine market to join our growing team in Sydney.ResponsibilitiesProvide marketing advice and assistance to the senior management team, particularly for the Philippine marketIdentify and create opportunities to develop the brand and profile of CIHELiaise with onshore and offshore education agents dealing with the Philippine marketWork with the student support manager to provide clear orientation and guidance to students regarding the support services available to them.Where appropriate, refer students to relevant academic staff for academic support servicesWhere appropriate, refer students to external services for personal support.Provides information to students about the use of the CIHE grievance procedure.Provide advice to students in person via front desk operations and online.Understand the importance of inclusion, equality,



and diversity.Provide information to students about taking care of their well-being and safety.Assist in the planning for and provision of support to students with disabilities and/or additional needs.Selection CriteriaUndergraduate Qualifications in business, marketing, or related disciplineKnowledge of and experience in the support of international students, preferably in a higher education contextProfessional experience in marketing preferably in the international higher education sectorAn understanding of the needs of studentsAbility to work well as part of a teamFamiliarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing Higher Education in Australia, especially as these relate to international studentsA valuable understanding of how to respond to the needs of different stakeholdersExperience in quality assurance, including the monitoring, reporting on, and improvement of services.
