This role involves a combination of forklift operation, cold room logistics, and administrative support within a quick-paced pack shed environment.
You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and tracking of fruit throughout the facility while maintaining clear communication with management and supporting daily production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will assist with the efficient handling and storage of blueberries while supporting accurate stock management and warehouse operations.Operate forklifts safely within the blueberry facility and cold room areasLoad and unload pallets of blueberries from picking trolleysTransport pallets into and out of cold room storage areasLoad fruit onto trucks for dispatchAssist with cold room organisation and stock managementComplete data entry tasks using Excel and site-specific systemsCommunicate with management regarding fruit volumes and storage capacityMaintain safe work practices and a clean work environmentCompetitive pay rate of $***** per hour plus penalty ratesConsistent seasonal work for 4 monthsApproximately 40 hours per week during peak production periodsOpportunity to develop logistics and warehouse coordination skillsFast-paced and team-focused working environmentCombination of forklift operation and administration responsibilitiesValuable experience within the agricultural and fresh produce industryYour Skills & ExperiencePrevious forklift operating experience requiredAbility to work safely in warehouse and cold room environmentsStrong data entry skills and attention to detailExperience using Microsoft Excel and computer-based systemsReliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently within a teamGood communication skills and ability to coordinate with managementAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to workplace safety and operational proceduresChoose Agri Labour AustraliaAgri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
