The Retail Manager isresponsible for achieving specific operational performance targets, including reducingdelivery times, increasing local sales, and improving "Voice of Customer" scores, whilemanaging a diverse team and ensuring full compliance with brand and operationalstandards.The role requires strong organisational capability, leadership skills, and the ability tomanage daily operations within a fast-paced QSR environment.Employment Type: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesStore Management & CoordinationDirectly manage and coordinate a diverse team of approximately 14 staff members,including Shift Runners, Pizza Makers,



and Drivers.Use independent judgment and problem-solving on a day-to-day basis regardingstaffing and operational matters.Monitor and optimise restaurant "make times" and delivery logistics to meet strictspeed targets.Implement strategies to improve "Voice of Customer" feedback and resolvecustomer concerns promptly.Oversee daily inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering to maintainfreshness and minimise wastage.Apply brand criteria and operational procedures to ensure consistent quality in linewith company standards.Undertake screening, assessment, and training for all new staff members to ensurehigh performance.Provide one-to-one support and mentoring for Shift Runners to ensure theysuccessfully achieve operational goals.Manage staff rosters to balance labour costs with peak-hour demand whileSupervise and support direct reports comprising 5 Shift Runners, 2 Pizza Makers, and7 Drivers.Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented workplace culture.Monitor daily and weekly sales data to identify opportunities for growth within thelocal Forest Lake market.Oversee store-level operational costs and labour budgets to support profitability andoperational efficiency.Ensure all food safety protocols, temperature logs, and hygiene standards meet bothlegislative and brand requirements.Provide regular operational reporting to the Director regarding store progress andperformance metrics.The Ideal CandidateKnowledge & SkillsAt least 12 months of relevant experience in a Retail Management or QSR leadershiprole.Proven ability to build and maintain a positive and progressive team culture.Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational bottlenecksduring peak periods.Sound verbal communication skills appropriate for consulting with a diverse team oftemporary residents and citizens.High level of computer literacy, including POS systems, database environments, andMicrosoft Office applications.Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
