Our capabilities span design, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and project management.We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our Projects division, working on specialist earthing and lightning protection projects.About the RoleThis is an initial three-month contract with genuine potential for extension as our project pipeline continues to grow.The position operates on a flexible FIFO roster, with Brisbane as the point of hire.
You will take responsibility for completing site activities safely, efficiently and to a high standard.This role will suit a capable electrician who enjoys working autonomously,



solving practical problems and contributing as part of a small, supportive project team.Your responsibilitiesInstalling earthing and bonding systemsInstalling lightning protection systemsAssisting with earth testing, verification and commissioningWorking alongside PPI's electrical engineers and project personnelInterpreting drawings, specifications and project requirementsCompleting site documentation, quality records and progress reportsSupporting the project team to achieve safe and successful outcomesIdentifying potential scope improvements and communicating them to the project teamMaintaining PPI's high standards of safety, workmanship and client serviceWhat you'll bringTo be considered for this position, you will ideally have:Current unrestricted electrical work licenceElectrical trade qualificationAt least five years of post-trade electrical experienceExperience in civil electrical works, earthing or lightning protectionStandard 11 qualificationCurrent Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme medicalCurrent unrestricted C Class driver's licenceHigh Risk Work licence – EWPStrong safety awareness and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work autonomously and within a small project teamGood communication, planning and problem-solving skillsUnrestricted Australian working rightsExcavator and skid-steer tickets will be highly regarded.Why join PPI?
