The Role
Theprimary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and maintain softwaresystems that meet the needs of the company and its customers.
You will workwith a team of developers, engineers, and designers to develop and createefficient and effective electronics and software solutions that solve complexproblems.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving existingproducts software systems, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, andefficient.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Develop understand software for embedded systems, including coding, debugging, and testing
Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure that products are designed to meet customer requirements, industry standards and safety regulation




Conduct testing and analysis of electronic systems and software to identify and resolve issuesPrepare documentation and technical reports to support product development and production
Participate in design reviews, project planning, and other engineering activities as required
Support and maintain compliance with relevant legislation and SafeGauge policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to the same

Liaising with suppliers & set up and management of supplier accounts

What you will bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field
Proficiency in software development for Android/iOS, including experience with C, C++, Python, Dart
Understanding of hardware and software integration and testing, including experience with debugging tools
Proficiency in component-based front-end architectures such as React/Flutter




Work within CI/CD pipelines to maintain code quality gates and streamline app development
Strong experience in the IoT domain, with an understanding of Bluetooth protocols and integration
Experience in developing Shopify or other no-code-based websites
Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Canva
Hands-on experience with software lifecycle tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Familiarity with enterprise cloud services integration(AWS Preferred)
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to electronics design and development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, Visual Studio
Knowledge of Samsung Knox Configure for enterprise device management
Experience with building and deploying app to large workforces
