Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedHV Electrical Estimatorto join our team.About the RoleThis is a key position , responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for HV distribution projects including:Pole top, padmount, and chamber substationsHV/LV underground and overhead distributionCivil construction works including earthworks and earthingNetwork augmentations and upgradesPole installationsContestable works within Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy regionsKey Responsibilities:Review, analyse and comprehend Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy Level 3 designs identifying material, labour and subcontractor requirementsFamiliarisation with Ausgrid and Endeavour energy network standards and comprehension in relation to specific projectsPreparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions in line with the company's pricing strategyCollaboration with project team to clarify scope and resolve uncertainties, Senior Estimator,



Project Manager, Operations ManagerLiaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, and consistently updating the database of pricingIdentifying and assessing risks in tenders and recommending mitigation measuresEnsuring all take-offs are technically accurateResponding to queries promptly and communicating clearly and effectively with clientsSupporting post-tender reviews and project handoversAssisting Project Manager with Project Coordination (if required)Skills & AbilitiesFamiliarisation with tendering websitesAdvanced user of estimation software and Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tender deadlinesAttention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality submissions
