As our business continues to grow, we are excited to be launching our new factory outlet direct to public and are seeking Retail Assistant / Cashiers to join our team.

About the Role
This is a varied and customer-focused position where you will be the face of our new retail outlet.
You will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with their purchases and help maintain a clean, well-presented store while ensuring our products are displayed to the highest standard.
Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience and helping establish Farmers Choice Meats as the local destination for quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional customer service.
Using POS system an accepting payments via cash and EFTPOS.
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with customer enquiries.
Building strong relationships with new and returning customers.
Developing product knowledge to confidently recommend and promote our range of premium meat products.
Assisting customers with product selection and processing customer orders.
Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the retail shop, including counters, display areas and windows.
Assisting with filling and maintaining product displays & replenishing stock
Assisting with general housekeeping duties, including dishwashing, rubbish removal and maintaining a clean work environment.
Working collaboratively with the retail and production teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience and support the successful launch of the store.
About You
We are looking for candidates who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing outstanding customer service and is excited by the opportunity to help build a new retail business from the ground up.
We are accepting both senior and junior roles.

Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a retail, customer service or cashier role highly regarded but not essential
Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly manner.
A confident, positive personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
Strong presentation and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage competing priorities.
Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
A proactive attitude and desire to contribute ideas that support the success of a current retail venture.
