Our commitment to our employees & clients is at the heart of everything we do.About the role:Rabobank's Global Service Centre, Asia Pacific, based in Sydney, provides operational support to Wholesale & Treasury businesses & their clients across the Asia Pacific region.The Lending & Agency team within Corporate Banking Services oversees the end-to-end loan lifecycle, managing loan processing, reconciliations, fee administration, settlements, & confirmations to support seamless client outcomes.As an Lending & Agency Officer, you will play a part in the success of this newly created Sydney team in delivering accurate, timely, & compliant payment & account services for Wholesale Banking clients across the Asia Pacific region.
You will ensure smooth execution of domestic & cross border transactions & uphold the bank's commitment to secure & reliable payment operations.This is an excellent chance to build regional exposure, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, & make a meaningful impact within a highly professional banking environment.The team works Monday to Friday from 12:30pm to 9pm so you must be willing & able to work hours these hours to support the Asia time zone.
As we have a hybrid work environment, you will work a mix of days in the office & days from home.Top Role Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Monitor end-to-end transaction flows & resolve issues promptly to minimise disruptionMaintain high standards of accuracy, completeness,



timeliness and reliability in all operational activities within SLAsMonitor system interfaces to ensure accurate transaction input and lifecycle integrity.Investigate, resolve, & escape cash, system, transactional, data, & reconciliation breaks.Respond to payment & transaction-related inquiries in a timely manner.Provide clients with guidance on payment formats, cut-off times, & regulatory requirementsSupport onboarding activities, ensuring correct setup of accounts & payment channels.Manage a client portfolio or asset class as part of team rotation.Ensure compliance with internal policies & external regulations (AML, Sanctions)To Be Successful, you will have:2+ years' experience in an operations role within Corporate, Wholesale or Institutional BankingKnowledge of Wholesale Banking products including, Corporate Lending products, Trade & Commodity Finance, Value Chain Finance.Knowledge of settlements & payments systems (SWIFT, RTGS, FPS, CNAPS, Direct Entry)Excellent attention to detail & an ability to work to a high level of accuracyStrong communication & stakeholder management skillsAn ability to prioritise, manage pressure, & meet strict deadlinesCustomer-focused mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approachMandarin or Cantonese language skills highly regardedWillingness & ability to work 12:30pm - 9pm Monday to Friday (mix of in office & at home)What we're proud to offer you:Wellbeing leave.
