Reporting directly to the Director, this pivotal role oversees all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, reporting, payroll, audit coordination, and strategic financial planning.As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, implementing robust systems and processes, and providing insightful analysis to support organisational growth.
You will lead a small offshore finance team and collaborate closely with the Executive Team to align financial strategies with our broader operational and strategic goals.This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and visionary finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, purpose-led environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the community.The role will involve monthly travel to our head office in Toowoomba.Key responsibilities:Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management with precision and strategic insightOversee cost accounting and ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking using XeroLiaise with external accountants to prepare annual financial statements and tax returnsDeliver end-of-month management reports with commentary and recommendations for improvementDeliver regular service level profit and loss statements and hours of service to ensure delivery against budget.Streamline and oversee accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and debt recovery processesManage end-to-end payroll for 300+ employees, ensuring compliance with SCHADS AwardMaintain employer obligations including PAYG, superannuation,



and payroll taxLead and develop a high-performing finance teamDrive digital transformation and process improvement across financial operationsEngage with internal and external stakeholders across multiple platformsAbout YouTo be considered for this role, you must possess the following:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field is requiredMinimum of 3 years previous experience in a Finance/Accounts Management roleDemonstrated expertise in payroll management and SCHADS Award interpretationExperience with Xero or similar accounting platforms1–2 years' experience in NDIS finance operationsExceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiencesProven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamHigh level of motivation, organisation, and administrative capabilityFull Australian working rightsExperience managing an offshore finance team (ideal)About UsFocused on Care is a leading provider of disability services, delivering high-quality, person-centred support under the NDIS, NIISQ, and DVA frameworks.
