The role is based in the North-West Tasmanian region to support our client base in the surrounding area.The successful candidate will be responsible for:-Undertaking the maintenance, repairs, testing and installation of fire protection equipment to relevant Australian Standards including, but not limited to, Fire Alarms, Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting and other building safety features.Liaising with customers,
promoting a professional and friendly image.Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements.Completing service records with the use of smart device technology.The position is a permanent full-time position and will require the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and be available to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a candidate who ticks the following boxes: –Current Electrical Qualifications/LicenceCurrent Driver's LicenceExperience in programming various fire panels and working with fire detection systemsAbility to coordinate, compile and submit the necessary paperwork in accordance with procedures and in a timely mannerStrong focus and commitment to workplace safetyA positive attitude, flexibility and great communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent customer service and time management skillsGood personal presentationWillingness to develop skills in all areas of fire protectionWhat Is In It For You?
