About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at Horizon Restaurant.
This is a key leadership role supporting the Executive Chef in delivering high-quality buffet service and contributing to the ongoing evolution of this iconic dining concept.
You will play an active role in daily kitchen operations, supporting menu execution, buffet presentation, and service delivery in a high-volume, premium environment.
This is an exciting prospect to be part of a signature restaurant with strong focus on quality, consistency, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations
Oversee buffet preparation, presentation, and service execution
Ensure consistency, quality, and high standards across all food offerings
Support menu planning, buffet rotation, and ongoing development of offerings
Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency




Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Lead and support kitchen team members during busy service periods
Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house operations
About You
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior CDP in a high-volume hotel or buffet environment
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
