Working closely with the production and factory teams, you will help ensure jobs are planned, organised and progressing efficiently from the office through to production.Bathurst, NSWAbout the RoleThis position is primarily office-based and focused on production coordination, planning and administration.
You will play an important role in keeping production information accurate, jobs organised and communication flowing between the production team, suppliers, clients and transport providers.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with production planning and job preparationRead and interpret production drawings and plansUpdate and maintain production information and recordsAssist with job coordination and material flowCoordinate freight bookings and transport logisticsAssist with production scheduling and administrationUse Microsoft Excel, Windows and Vectorworks drawing softwareManage email correspondence and respond professionally to enquiriesCommunicate with suppliers,



clients and internal teams by phone and emailWork closely with the factory and production teams to support the efficient delivery of jobsAbout YouThe successful candidate will be:Highly organised with excellent attention to detailConfident using computers and Microsoft ExcelA strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable managing emails, phone calls and multiple tasksAble to read and interpret production drawings and plansProactive, reliable and able to work independentlyComfortable working closely with production and factory teamsExperience in upholstery production or a similar manufacturing environment would be highly desirable.
Experience in production administration, manufacturing, construction, drafting or a similar coordination role will also be highly regarded.Experience with Vectorworks or similar drawing software would be an advantage.This is a great chance to join a well-established team and secure a long-term position where your organisation, communication and coordination skills will directly contribute to keeping production running smoothly.
