Savannah Goldfields is seeking experienced Open Pit Equipment Operators to join our growing team at the Agate Creek Gold mine.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional and safety focused mining company, contributing to one of Queensland's newest mining projects.
As an Operator, you'll play a key role in delivering safe and effective mining operations while operating a well-maintained fleet of heavy equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating trucks, excavators and production dozers
Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
Maintaining high standards of equipment care and housekeeping
Identifying and reporting equipment faults and operational issues
Working in accordance with all site safety procedures and operational requirements
What you will bring:
Experience operating heavy machinery in a mining or civil construction environment
A strong commitment to safety
The ability to live and work on a remote mine site
